The flexiTool system was developed through collaboration and active involvement with our client (tooling department). The solution was designed to manage orders and collect data related to orders and associated information.

The tool allows office staff to enter information about clients, processed quotations, attach cost estimates, and work files. Technologists can create routing, define estimated times and materials, and determine the necessity of creating a program.

Particular attention should be given to the following modules: #Guide, #Schedule, #Material Warehouse.

The algorithms used in each module reflect the specific needs of the tooling industry. The system supports backward planning, workload management at workstations, and order execution control. The status of order operations is presented clearly. The Guide module is updated in real-time thanks to integration with the production registration module.

Another key module, the Material Warehouse, demonstrates an understanding of tooling industry requirements. Inventory records include features commonly used in tool shops, such as material type, dimensions, cutting cross-section, and more. Stock levels are maintained according to simplified accounting practices, reflecting actual material usage.

By implementing flexiTool, companies gain not only control over orders and production execution but also access to data for calculating total cost, order profitability, and employee productivity. The system is compatible with other D-Tech solutions.
Depending on the client’s needs, the system can be expanded with modules for machine sensing, reporting, or integration with the CyMMeS system for the maintenance department.
